Why I’m Starting Quincy

When I was 17, I worked at a golf retailer. I spent a lot of time around gear and clothes, and I remember thinking how most of it felt outdated—too sporty, overly traditional, and definitely not the kind of stuff I’d wear off the course. I also remember thinking how cool it would be to have my own golf brand one day. At the time, it felt like just a thought—one of those daydreams you file away.

But it stuck with me.

I’ve been golfing most of my life. It’s something I always come back to. I’ve made some of my closest friends through the game, and I love being outside, playing just for the sake of it. But even now, all these years later, it’s still hard to find golfwear for women that actually feels good to wear.

A lot of it still doesn’t fit right. It’s not designed for how we move—or how we want to feel while we’re playing.

That idea I had at 17? It started to feel less far off. And more like something I wanted to build.

So here we are.

Quincy is about simple, well-made golfwear. Nothing loud. Nothing overdesigned. Just clothes that move well, fit well, and feel like you.

Oh—and the name? Quincy was my first dog. If you know me, you know I love two things: golf and dogs.
